AI portraits
An imagined journey.
Thirty AI-generated portraits of Atakan Özalan, Co-founder & CTO of GOGOGO LLC, GOTONOM and GeoMono. Each scene is imagined: he walks into rooms where work was done by hand and brings the machine, then the agents, then the instruments that check what AI says.
Every image on this page is an AI-generated illustration of Atakan Özalan, made by his AI agents with an image model from one reference portrait. The scenes are imagined: none is a photo of a real place, event or archive.
The real journey, with dates and the family photo01
Work once done by hand
Rooms where people counted, typed, connected calls and drew maps by hand, and one man with a laptop. The joke is the point: the work stays, the tool changes.

Imagined: a hall of abacus clerks, and Atakan Özalan with a laptop.
Imagined: a 1960s typing pool. Atakan Özalan drinks his tea while five agent windows do the typing.
Imagined: an exchange routing calls by hand. Atakan Özalan routes many questions through one cable.
Imagined: mapmakers at work, and Atakan Özalan with a live map. Mapping where something shows up is still the job.

Day one, imagined
The classic founding photo, restaged with him in it: a garage, a first office, a workshop and a floor of schematics. None of these rooms existed; they are a genre, not a record.

Imagined day one: a garage bench, a circuit board and Atakan Özalan. The genre of the founding snapshot, not a real one.
Imagined: the first office, a desk on filing cabinets, and Atakan Özalan as an early-days CTO.
Imagined: a 1930s-style workshop and a vacuum-tube prototype, with Atakan Özalan at the bench.
Imagined: thinking on the floor among logic diagrams. Atakan Özalan, the design before the code.
03
Commander of agents
His work today is systems of AI agents: many workers, one plan. Here that becomes terminals, robot arms, a chess exhibition, a classroom of tin robots and a puzzle finished together.

Imagined: six terminals, six agents, one operator. Atakan Özalan as commander of agents.
Imagined: conducting robot arms. Atakan Özalan keeping many machines on one plan.
Imagined: a homemade cluster of old computers, with Atakan Özalan in front of it.
Imagined: a simultaneous chess exhibition against robots, with Atakan Özalan playing every board.
Imagined: a class of tin robots, and Atakan Özalan teaching the agents.
Imagined: a robot hand finishes a jigsaw of Atakan Özalan. People and machines complete the picture together.

Old age, new age
One face, two eras, split down the middle: a mainframe room and a data centre, a garage robot and a humanoid, an abacus hall and racks of GPUs, and one torn print.

Old age, new age: Atakan Özalan between a mainframe room and a data centre.
Old age, new age: a garage robot and a humanoid, with Atakan Özalan in both.
Old age, new age: from an abacus hall to racks of GPUs, with Atakan Özalan in both.
Old age, new age: a torn print, the 1970s on one side and today on the other, with Atakan Özalan in both.

The CTO, formally
The formal portrait in old formats: a steel engraving, a lab blackboard, a control-room console and a blueprint.

Atakan Özalan as an engraved portrait, framed by circuit traces and abacus beads.
Atakan Özalan at a blackboard of logic gates: the formal CTO portrait, old style.
Imagined: a control-room console, with Atakan Özalan on duty.
Atakan Özalan as a blueprint, with an exploded view of his glasses: the CTO drawn as a system.

Measuring what AI says
At GeoMono, where he is Co-founder & CTO, the work is measuring what AI answers say about brands. The instruments here are literal: calipers, a scale, a polygraph, an interview, a game of telephone, five engines side by side and red string.

Atakan Özalan measuring what an AI says: GeoMono's job, drawn as a pair of calipers.
Atakan Özalan weighing two AI answers against each other: comparing engines is half of measuring them.
Imagined: a lie detector for AI. Atakan Özalan checks whether a machine's answer holds up.
Imagined: interviewing the machine. Atakan Özalan asks, the robot answers, the tape keeps the record.
AI answers drift like a game of telephone. Atakan Özalan stands at the end of the line, checking what arrived.
Five engines, one question: Atakan Özalan compares what each AI answers.
Tracing an AI answer back to its sources: Atakan Özalan with the red string.
